Adidas has covered its new trainers in mud so you don’t have to

The month of June is full of crazy releases that will leave many of our bank accounts close to empty and have us contemplating what the meaning of life really is. “Gone Fishing” Foamposites, What The KD 7s and adidas originals zx 750 “Shattered Backboards” are just a few that I can think of off the top of my head. Oh yeah and let’s not forget about the Air Jordan 7 “Championship” Pack. Geesh!

Lucky for me, I’m not really looking to pick up anything this month, so I’ll just sit back and watch the chaos unfold. Another release you’ve maybe had marked on your calendar is the adidas zx 850 Boost. This past weekend Ibn Jasper decided to lace up the 2nd Kanye West adidas signature sneaker and stunt on the gram for everyone to see. Check out these on feet images of the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost and look for them at select adidas retailers on June 27th for $200.
A step taken by Adidas with the launch of its adidas jeremy scott trainers – a white shoe with its bottom half covered in fake mud. The sportswear brand teamed up with designer Kazuki Kuraishi and conceptual artist Ryan Gander to create what they call ‘a snow-white leather upper with a clever mud-splatter effect.’
Clever? Oh, okay.
This is not the footwear industry’s first foray into ‘distressed’ trainers – Converse introduced its Well Worn Collection, a full range of pre-washed sneakers with softer, dirtied canvas and scuffed toe caps, in March last year – but the new Adidas jeremy scott wings definitely push the boundaries of what we’d consider worth spending our cash on.
