Did Nike almost make a

We all know about the Bred installment that mirrored the infamous “Banned” Air Jordan 1s earlier in the year, and had our fingers crossed that a premium leather variety of the silhouette would pay homage to the other classic AJ1 colorway. That never came to fruition, but this lifestyle inclined women’s exclusive colorway comes awfully close. The upper manages to bring classic sport mesh, leather, and suede together, as the black upper is accented by royal blue suede touches. The grey midsole allows for a Tide Pool Blue to shine on the outsole to add a contrasting hue. What do you think of this Air Max 1? nike free designers created the first shoe with a visible air unit, the Nike Air Max 1. Now celebrating its 28th birthday, Nike will re-releasing the two OG colorway for sneakeeheads to enjoy once again. The only tad bit of bad news is that this will be a GS exclusive release. Whomp, whomp, whomp!!
Earlier today we showed you the OG “Challenge Red” colorway that will also be releasing in GS sizes, and now we show you this royal blue edition that is now being known as “Soar.” Even this release is only for the small footed population, it returns in all of its OG glory. The shoe features white mesh on the toe, tongue and side panel underlays while beige suede overlays land on the side panels, by the toe and on the heel. Last but definitely not least Soar (royal blue) drapes the Nike branding, upper lace eyelets and wraps the entire mudguard.

This silhouette was almost entirely based on one of Tinker Hatfield’s original sketches, but the incredible part of this whole saga is that the sketch in question was created almost thirty years ago and predates the

The Nike Sportswear design team visited the Archives for some inspiration for the upcoming Air Max Day and upon seeing the sketch, they chose to bring it to life given the historic backstory. Designer Graeme McMillan took charge and created the Air Max Zero using the Air Max 1 Ultra outsole and some of Nike’s latest technology and design cues for the upper, with Tinker himself noting that had he been tasked with the Air Max Zero, he would’ve made many of the same decisions.
