CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Ratingsfor Cleveland Indians telecasts on SportsTime Ohio dropped 36 percent in 2015.
The Indians averaged a 3.93 household rating this season, compared to a 6.17 mark in 2014, according to information obtained by the Northeast Ohio Media Group from the network. Last year's figure represented the fifth-highest rating in baseball. The team's ratings jumped 12 percent from 2013 to 2014.
This year, the Indians suffered the second-largest decrease in the league. The Indians fell short in that endeavor and finished the season with an 81-80 record.
The Kansas City Royals, who owned the American League's best record at 95-67, registered the league's top average rating.
